Doss, Donald Mangus

Donald Mangus Doss, age 73, of Blacksburg died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Blacksburg, Va. on September 30, 1941 to the late Clyde Edward and Sarah Elizabeth Doss and also preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Doss and Jimmy Doss.

Don retired from the Electric Services at V.P.I. & S.U. with 40 years of service. Don loved everyone and will be remembered by his quick wit and light hearted jokes he pulled on everyone.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Linda Doss, of Blacksburg; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie Wyatt and Terry Doss, of Floyd; grandson, Jamie Allen Dowdy, of Pilot; God daughter, Tabitha Ann and four grandchildren, Dakota Wayne, Devin Wayne, Jasmine Marie, and Aahana Grace; two sisters, Ellen Dove of Bedford, Barbara Clark, Christiansburg; sister-in-law, Shirley Doss, of Blacksburg; nieces and nephews, Larry Doss, Jamie Pittman, Jimmy Doss, Jr., Julie and Carla.
