Edwards, Daphna A.

Daphna A. Edwards, 85, of Draper, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014, with family by her side. She was born in Pulaski County on July 10, 1929. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce (Buddy) D. Edwards, Sr.; her parents, Williamand Lelia (Bain) Smith; sisters Nelma Covey, Katherine Smith, and Melva Wade; brothers, Bobby Smith, Lewis (Elwood) Smith, and William (Junior) Smith.

She is survived by her brother, Neville Smith,, of Pulaski, Va.; her children, Bruce (Danny) D. Edwards Jr.and wife, Marian, of Midland, Va., Dreama Tressler, of Sterling, Va., Judy Gallagher and husband, Stephen, of Federal Way, WA; five grandchildren, Bruce D. Edwards III and wife, Tracey, of Warrenton, Va.; Rene Goff and husband Dana, of Lavonia, Ga, Stephanie Oberg and husband, Richard, of Tulalip, WA, Monica Chandler and husband, David, of Leesburg, Va, Jennifer Hall and husband, Bryan, of Charlotte, N.C.; seven great-grandchildren, Spencer and Levi Kropff, Lillian and Natalee Goff, Bruce IV (Daniel)and Emma Edwards, and Matthew Chandler.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 6, at Stevens Funeral Home in Pulaski, VA, with visitation at 11 a.m., funeral service at Noon with theRev. Mike Coleman and the Rev. Don Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow at the Moore Family Cemetery in Delton, VA.
