Carter, Shay Renay

Shay Renay Carter, 15 months, of Radford, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008.

She is survived by her mother, Tammy Leatham; her father, Christopher Rodney Carter, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Peggy Leatham and Tom and Sharon Hinkley; paternal grandfathers, Barrie Lane and Christopher Rodney Carter, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Gertrude Lane: paternal great-grandmother and grandfather, Bonita Taylor and George Taylor; aunts, Sharon Leatham, Kim Leatham; uncles, Peter Chester; great aunt and uncle, Bob and Connie Tatum; great uncle, Ray Hilton; cousins, Nevaeh Chester, Rayden Leatham Taylor, Mike Carter, Matt Carter.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 9, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Terry Woodward officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
