Summers, Margery Ellen

Margery Ellen Summers, 86, of Riner, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John W. Summers; sisters and brother, Evelyn Shivers, Jim Goodenough and Lynn Goodenough, all of London, England; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Georgia and Robert Fowler, and Vina Holliman; and special nieces and husbands, Janice and David Forbes, Ellen and Toby Hedge, Betty and Daniel Parish, and Sandra and Denny Adams.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2008, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Everett Shepherd and the Rev. Jube Burk with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
