Phillips, Mark Edison

Mark Edison Phillips, 88, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2006 at his home in Radford. He was a member of Grove United Methodist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran and co-owner of Jackson Hardware.

Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Joyce Phillips of Radford; two brothers, Dewey Phillips of Radford and Tom Phillips of Dublin; a sister, Ella Long of Pulaski; a stepdaughter, Melanie Moore of Omega, Ga.; two stepsons, L.W. Long and Michael Long; two stepgrandsons, Brandon McDaniel and Sean McDaniel; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Richard Worringham officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. www.mullinsfuneralhome.com
