Scott, Linda Faye Breeden

Linda Faye Breeden Scott, 57, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at her home.

Surviving are her husband, Herbert D. Scott, of Christiansburg; a daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Robbie Roberts, of Desha, Ark.; six sisters, Rita Land and Ann Stultz, of Christiansburg, Sandra Dickenson, of Laurel, Md., Kathy O’Dell, of Princeton, W.Va., Patty Goad, of Dublin, and Tina Howell, of Christiansburg; three brothers, Brady (Shorty) Breeden, of Riner, Robert (Doug) Breeden and Kenneth (Chuckie) Breeden, both of Christiansburg; two grandchildren, Rhyan and Travis Roberts; and a special caretaker, Ann Ratcliffe, also survive.

The family would like to give special appreciation to Carilion Hospice and Dr. Harry McCoy and his help for their kindness in their time of need.

She was preceded in death by one brother; one sister; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in McCoy Centennial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2008, at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, Va.
