Green, Forrest Benedict

Forrest B. (Fess) Green, 68, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2008. He was a professor at Radford University for 20 years and a retired Naval Veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Millie F. Green; two daughters, Tai Whitlock and Zoe Green; son-in-law, Fred Whitlock; a granddaughter, Allison Whitlock; his mother, Lee S. Green; and his sister, Pamela Bell.

Dr. Green was a avid supporter of Pathways for Radford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Fess Green Wildwood Park Memorial Fund, c/o Pathways of Radford, P.O. Box 1283, Radford, Va. 24143.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2008, in Preston Hall on Radford University Campus. The Green family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. www.mullinsfuneralhome.com
