O’Dell, Edith Ocie Cox

Edith Ocie Cox O’Dell, age 94 of Murrell’s Inlet, South Carolina and formerly of Fairfax, VA and Pulaski County (Snowville Community) passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014.

Born November 2, 1919 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Riley Osborne Cox and Mettie Ella Hollandsworth Cox. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Turus O’Dell; son, Daniel Raymond O’Dell; son-in-law, Jerry Fox; sisters, Sylvia Trail, Sophia Mildred Quesenberry; and brothers, Gerald Cox, Howard Cox, Basil Cox, Quentin Cox and JC Cox.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, with Elder Gary Utz and Elder John Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., October 29, 2014 at Bower Funeral Home.
