Thompson, Daniel Davis

Daniel Davis Thompson, 73, of Boynton Beach, Fla., went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 19, 2008. He was born January 3, 1935 in Montgomery County, son of the late Montie and Ada Thompson. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Melinda Thompson Fountain; and two brothers, Randolph and Alfred Thompson.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Thompson, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; one son, Edward Thompson, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sister, Beulah Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Richard Bragg; brothers, Jessie and James Thompson, all of Christiansburg, and Donnie Thompson, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Shirley Thompson; sister-in-law, Dessie Thompson, all of Christiansburg; Sandra Noonkester, of Pulaski; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wendel and Emma Young, of Christiansburg; as well as many nephews and nieces.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Friday, April 25, 2008, with the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating.
