Davis, Patricia Moore

Patricia Moore Davis, 60, of Blacksburg Va. died October 19, 2014. She was born June 2, 1954 at the Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, MD, a daughter of William Alfred and Anne Soyars Moore. Mrs. Davis spent her time as a homemaker as well as being the treasurer of Blacksburg United Methodist Preschool. She also enjoyed her part time job at Balfour selling class rings during the later years of her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, William A. Moore Sr. She is survived by her husband Keith L. Davis of Blacksburg, Va., her children Sarah E. Davis and Scott W. Davis also of Blacksburg Va., her mother Anne S. Moore and brother William A. Moore Jr. of Charlottesville, Va.

The family would like to express their deep and sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery and the University of Virginia Hospital for their exceptional care and concern during her brief stay at these facilities.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Blacksburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Carson officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McCoy Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
