Crigger, Nettie Harden

kinkade-rose-gardenOn October 12, 2014 Nettie Aileen Harden Crigger of Pulaski, passed peacefully into eternity.Aileen was born September 3, 1937 in Wytheville, Va. and she was the daughter of the late William Rufus Harden and Roberta Jane Irvin Harden.

She was also preceded in death by a son, William Cecil (Bic) Eversole; her brother, William Moore Harden; and by a sister, Nellie Agnes Sharitz.

Surviving is he devoted and loving husband of 58 years, Charles Richard Crigger; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Dawn Myers Crigger; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Jane and Jon Charles Davy Owens; grandson, Adrian Turner; daughter-in-law, Dinah Barlow Hodge; sisters, Ida Williams, Claudine Montgomery, Hope Walters, and Joan Harden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by her “adoptive” children and grandchildren who fondly referred to her as “Maw Crigger”. They are James and Kim Dalton, Richie, Kasey Len, Kassie and Ian Wall, Marcus, Kayla and Leo Dalton, Paula and Randy Talley, Livvie Dodson, Luke Cooper and Dylan Cooper.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Scott Jamison for the loving care he provided for Aileen throughout the years, Roanoke Memorial Neuro-Intensive Care Unit, Pulaski Rescue Squad and Stevens Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 P.M.Wednesday, October 15, 2014from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harry Lee Gunter officiating. Visiting will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 5:30 until the service hour. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m.Thursday, October 16, 2014 from Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
