Cruise, Thomas Christopher

Thomas Christopher (Chris) Cruise, of Blacksburg, born January 26, 1973, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, due to a tragic car accident.

He is preceded in death by sister, Lindsey M. Cruise; brother, David “Scotty” Cruise; grandmother and grandfather, Mary F. and Aubrey A. Cruise; grandfather, George Lawrence; great-grandmother and great-grandfather, Velma and Walker Linkous; aunt, Mary Lawrence; an uncle, Paul Lawrence; and an uncle, James Lawrence.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Raven C. Cruise, of Christiansburg, Va.; father and stepmother, David L. and Deborah Cruise, of Radford, Va.; mother and stepfather, Peggy and Barry Long, of Savannah, Ga.; brother, Shawn Cruise, of Blacksburg; sister, Bethany A. Myrick, of Savannah, Ga.; grandmother, Frances Alls, of Savannah, Ga.; along with many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special loved ones, Sarah Johnson, Denise Yopp and Estela Aguilar.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 19, 2008, from 3 to 5 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va.
