Jarrells, Allan Ronald

Allan Ronald Jarrells, 68, of Pulaski, died on Monday, September 1, 2014, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Pulaski County, Va., on December 8, 1945, to the late Hubbard Preston and Dorothy Alice Quesenberry Jarrells. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kerena Jarrells Kessinger; and a great-grandson, Adam Michael Ratcliff.

He is survived by his wife, Rena Maxine Jarrells, of Pulaski; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Anita Jarrells;brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Judy Jarrells, and Gary and Suzie Jarrells; grandchildren, Travis and Mandy Jarrells, April and Bryan Ratcliff, Amanda and Daniel Moore, and John Allan Kessinger; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ariel, Carley and Tyler Jarrells, and Abigail Moore. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2014,in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va., 540-552-3211.
