Turner, Margaret Davis
Margaret Davis Turner, 75, of Narrows. passed away Friday, March 21, 2008, at Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek.
She was born on May 1, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Clyde Swanson and Pauline Thomas Davis. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Jackson Turner; a daughter, Jackie Wade; a granddaughter, Christina Turner; a sister, Judy Evans; and a brother, Cleveland Davis. She attended Cornerstone Pentecostal Holiness Church in Narrows.
She is survived by three sons, Clyde Turner and special friend, Karen Guynn, Larry Turner and wife, Brenda, and Jeff Turner and wife, Amy; a daughter, Carolyn Kirby and husband, Doug; and a son-in-law, Steve Wade, all of Narrows; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Davis, of Dublin, Rufus Davis and wife, Ann, of Peterstown, W.Va., and Bobby Davis and wife, Barbara, of Kernersville, N.C.; and one sister, Betty Dent, of Hampton.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2008, in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service, Narrows, with the Rev. Aubrey Whitlow and the Rev. Kim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek.
