Dudley, Rodger Dale

Rodger Dale Dudley, 65, of Pulaski, died Tuesday July 15, 2014 at his home. He was born February 14, 1949 in Matewan, W.Va. He was the son of the late H.C. Dudley and Mabel Dudley. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, James Dudley and Dennis Dudley. He is survived by his wife Penny Dudley of Pulaski: sister Loretta Christenberry and brother-in-law, George Christenberry of Florida: brother, Bernard Dudley and sister-in-law, Rita Dudley of Maryland: brother, Gene Dudley and sister-in-law, Anita Dudley of Alabama; brother Doug Dudley and sister-in-law Mary Jo Dudley of Kentucky and Jerry Dudley of Kentucky. He is also survived by his daughter, Amanda Dudley of Dublin; and stepdaughter Jeanette Lawson and her husband Mike Lawson of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Michael and Felicia Presgraves of Colorado and Brittany Presgraves of Christiansburg; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Morgan, Dustin, Kaylee and MJ as well as many nieces; and nephews. Rodger worked for many years at Eden’s Distributing and as an Independent Distributor for Pepperidge Farm products. Lastly he worked in car sales where he retired from Duncan Suzuki in Pulaski. Rodger enjoyed watching football, NASCAR racing and Duck Dynasty. He enjoyed sitting on his porch and talking with his family and visitors. The family would like to also thank the staff at Medi Home Health and Hospice for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 20, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home in Pulaski. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
