Nunn, Virginia Strader

Virginia Strader Nunn, 82, of Manassas, formerly of Radford, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006.

She taught at Christiansburg Elementary and Middle Schools from 1950 to 1986. She was a graduate of Radford College. She enjoyed needlework and watching the Washington Redskins and the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Strader Moore, Manassas, Margaret Strader Bradford, Alexandria; one brother, John Strader, Largo, Fla.; along with three nephews, Rev. Joseph Bradford and his wife, Louise, Round Lake, N.Y., Stephen Bradford, Montgomery Village, Md. and J. Charles Strader, Virginia Beach.

Funeral service were held on Monday, March 13, 2006 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Bennington officiating. Interment followed in West View Cemetery. Price Funeral Home, Manassas and DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford handled arrangements.
