O’Berry Sr., Elton Grant

Elton Grant O’Berry Sr., 63, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, March 10, 2008, at the New River Valley Medical Center.

He was a retired employee of the Lynchburg Foundry. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Kelly and Nancy Ellen Crewes O’Berry.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Ellen and John Ramsey, of Pulaski; two sons, Elton Grant O’Berry II, of Check and Mark Kelly O’Berry, of Christiansburg; brother, Lawrence O’Berry, of Alabama; three sisters, Joan Bland and Carol Lantis, both of Bartow, Fla., and Janice O’Berry, of Colorado; and 11 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Buck Yopp officiating.
