DeLap, Timothy Paul
After a life long struggle with Friedreich’s Ataxia, a rare neurodegenerative disorder, Timothy Paul Delap (Bo) began walking on the streets of gold on March 11, 2006. He joined his father, Robert Paul DeLap, his paternal grandparents Jess & Erna DeLap, and his maternal grandparents Hobert & Delmer Worrell.
Bo leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted mother M. Edna DeLap – Pulaski; five siblings & spouses, John & Traci DeLap, Pulaski, Ron & Dee DeLap, Radford, Tammie & Tony Duncan, Radford, Mitzi & Larry Baker, Rocky Mount, Va., Cyndi & Allen Pulis, Woodstock, Va.; 11 nieces & nephews whom he spoiled and gave the gift of compassion and love of the handicapped, Brad Duncan, Nichole Whitfield, Tiffany, Kimberly, Tabitha, Bobby, Kevin and Michael DeLap, Michaela Baker and KJ & Kaitlyn Kittinger. Special thanks to the staff at Pulaski Health and Rehab Center, Dr. Timothy Williams, and Adventa Hospice Care.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Mike Whitaker officiating. Interment will follow at the Worrell Cemetery, Snowville, Va.
