Hubbard, Marion Virginia

Marion Virginia Hubbard, age 92 of Radford, Va. departed this life on Thursday March 9, 2006 at the Heritage Health Care in Blacksburg, Va. She was born November 5, 1913 in Radford, Va., the daughter of the late Fred Hubbard and Cassie Burnette Hubbard.

She was a member of the Radford Church of God in Christ. She was a former employee of the Radford Hospital and Radford College.

Mrs. Hubbard was preceded in death by her husband William M. Hubbard, one daughter Helen Hubbard and one grandson. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, John Willie (Mi-Mi) Hubbard of Columbus, Ohio and Samuel Johnson Hubbard, Sr. (Dotchie) of Radford, Va.; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law Barbara Hubbard of Georgia; two daughters-in-law, Alpha Hubbard and Sandra Pack both of Radford, Va.; several nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be Tuesday March 14, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Radford Church of God in Christ, Russell and Clay Streets, Radford, Va. with Elder Ronald Watson officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at church. Burial will be at the Sunrise Burial Park, Fairlawn, Va.
