Brown, Lenora Creasy

Lenora Creasy Brown, 78, of Willis, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008. She was a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and worked as a commercial artist and did fine art.

She was active organizing Girl Scout Troops while her four daughters were young. She was also a Master Gardener. Survivors include her husband, Harold F. Brown, of Willis; daughters, Sandra Kulik, of Blacksburg, Suzanne Volkwein, of Cannonsburg, Pa., N.J. Brown, of Akron, Ohio, and Maggie Clark, of Lynchburg; sons, Bruce Brown, of Syracuse, N.Y., and Kenneth Brown, of San Francisco, Calif.; brothers, William Creasy, of Pittsburg, Pa., and Robert Creasy, of Orlando, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Willis, with Pastor Fred Hodges officiating. Arrangements by Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd, Va.
