Donithan, Floyd Edward

Floyd Edward Donithan, age 73 of 3033 Pond Lick Hollow Road, Pulaski passed away Friday evening, March 10, 2006. Born January 11, 1933 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late Gaines William Donithan and Lizzie Carpenter Donithan.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Gaines Donithan and a step-son, Ronald Donithan; and two brothers, Robert and William Donithan.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Korean War.

Surviving are: his wife, Audrey Juanita Guynn Donithan, Pulaski; daughters, Linda Maloney, Ft Lauderdale, Fla., Dana Jones, Melbourne, Fla., Patricia Woodruff, Hunts, N.C.; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Bruce, Richmond, Nellie Marie Riggins, Danville.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 11 a.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. David Hoover officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. a t Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.
