Ratcliff, Kay Covey

Kay Covey Ratcliff, 61, of Pulaski, died Friday, March 10, 2006 in the Pulaski Community Hospital after a long battle from cancer.

She was born in Pulaski on October 24, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Eunice Lucado Covey. She graduated from Pulaski High School and attended Radford College. She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in Pulaski. She was a retired teller at the First Federal Savings and Loan in Pulaski.

Surviving her are her daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Gary Hostetter of Dublin; son, Mark Ratcliff of Pulaski; granddaughter, Bailey Hostetter of Dublin; and sister, Anne Covey of Pulaski.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 14, at 7 p.m. from the First Christian Church in Pulaski with the Rev. Randy Winn officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the service hour at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the First Christian Church General Fund or to the American Cancer Society.
