Davis, Ruby Bane

Ruby Bane Davis, of Parrott, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 19, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Davis Sr.; her parents, Arthur and Verland Bane; brothers, George H. “Bubby” Bane and Stanley Ray “Badger” Bane; and infant sister, Ellen Delinda Bane.

Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law, Nomia and Wiley Goad, Eunice and James Foster and Ann Flinchum; very special sister-in-law, Jo Ann F. Bane; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of good friends; and special friends, Don and Ruth Mullins and the Roberson Family.

The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Tauro, Dr. Sklar and the staff at Carilion N.R.V. Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Parrott Church of God. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at the Sifford Cemetery. DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford is handling the arrangements.
