Henderson, Joe Slusser

Joe Slusser Henderson, 81, of Blacksburg, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was born in Montgomery County, Va., on December 15, 1926, to the late John Wallace and Willa Slusser Henderson and is also preceded in death by a sister, Martha Alice Henderson. He retired from VPI & SU with over forty years of service.

He is survived by several cousins and good friends, Maxine and Haven Cook.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Reggie Tuck officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening, February 15, 2008, at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, Blacksburg, Va.
