Flory, Mary Oberholtzer

Mary (Obie) Oberholtzer Flory, 67, of Radford, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008.

She was a retired Mammographer at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. She was a member of Grove United Methodist Church in Radford.

Mrs. Oberholtzer was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Ellen Oberholtzer; and a brother, Ike Oberholtzer. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Flory, of Radford; two daughters, Nicole and Chris Courtney, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Heather and David Burnham, of Washington, D.C.; sister, Audrey and Richard Tison, of Florida; three sisters-in-law, Betty Kreider, of Newport News, Kitty Carr of Harrisonburg, and Karen Carr of Manteo, N.C.; three grandchildren, Zachary and Cara Courtney, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Jackson Burnham of Washington, D.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Grove United Methodist Church in Radford with the Rev. John Kreider of Newport News officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, Va., 24014.
