Durham, Mary Helen

Mary Helen Durham, 86, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, January 22, 2008. The wife to the late Charles Hugh Durham, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Pearl Haley Dudley.

She is survived by her children, Charles Hugh Durham Jr., Harry Moorman and Linda Durham, and Kenneth and Denise Durham; and grandchildren, Michael Durham, Steven Durham, Dean Durham, Darian Durham, Jesse Durham and Megan Durham. Mrs. Durham is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Dallas Durham, Devin Durham and Sierri McCray; and one surviving sister, Vera Wrenn.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2008, at The Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2008, with Pastor Dennis Hutchison officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
