Spurlock, Glenn Dale

Glenn Dale “Nuke” Spurlock, age 45 of 4320 Brookmont Road, Pulaski passed away Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Winston Salem Baptist Hospital. Born December 13, 1960 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late Rhea Jennings and Thelma Gregory Jennings.

In addition to his parents, one brother, Gary Ray Spurlock and one brother-in-law, Fred Davis, also preceded him in death.

Surviving are: his wife, Lockie Davis Spurlock, Pulaski; daughter, Britney Nicole Cook, Pulaski; sister, Lois & Tom Viars, Pulaski; brothers, Michael and Janet Spurlock, Barren Springs, Dean Spurlock, Barren Springs, Johnny Spurlock, Pulaski, Bobby “Pops” Spurlock, Pulaski; in-laws, Mary & Bob Thornton, Pulaski, Gene & Jackie Davis, Pulaski; sisters-in-laws, Jeanette Davis & Jody Bevil; special friend, Todd Hall.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Dale Akers officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
