Linker, Floyd Leslie

Floyd Leslie Linker, 79, of Blacksburg, Va. and formerly of Vienna, Va., died Wednesday, December 19, 2007.

He was born in Los Angeles, Calif. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol Linker; his daughter, Leslie Linker, of Las Vegas, Nev.; his son, David A. Linker; daughter-in-law, Catherine Copeland; and two granddaughters, Christine Linker and Alexa Linker, of Blacksburg, Va.

Floyd Linker had a 20-year career in the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War. After retirement from military service he operated a small business. Following his military retirement he resided in Vienna, Va., until late 2005 when he moved to Blacksburg to be closer to his son and his family.
