Phillips, Nellie Mae

Nellie Mae Phillips, 84, of Christiansburg passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007.

She was a member of Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysess and Alma Phillips; sisters, Printie Phillips, Mazie Quesenberry and Hassie Lyons; brothers, Williard Phillips, Cleatis Phillips, Leroy Phillips and Wavely Phillips.

Survivors include, son and daughterin-law, Kenneth and Susan Phillips of Christiansburg; sisters, Elizabeth Sutphin and Ricie Quesenberry, both of Indian Valley; grandsons, Scott Phillips and Brandon Phillips, both of Christiansburg; great-grandson, Tyler Phillips of Christiansburg; and special nieces, Shirley Phillips, Katherine Gerald, Jackie Cox and Mozell Quesenberry, all of Indian Valley and Iris Williams of Dublin.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Indian Valley Church of God with the Rev. Richard Kingrea, the Rev. Leon Alley and the Rev. Kenneth Poston officiating. Interment will follow at Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Indian Valley Church of God.
