Kegley, Sherwood King

Sherwood King Kegley, 89, of Radford, died Friday March 3, 2006.

Born March 7, 1916 in Newbern, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lura Chinault King and Chester B. King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Ralph Cleveland Kegley.

She is survived by four daughters: Judy Dahm of Charlotte, N.C., Ann Kao of Bodfish, CA, Betty Sue Mitchell of Radford, Va., Doris Gunthrop of Conn.: two sons; Ralph Eugene Kegley of Lancaster, S.C. and Duane Kegley of Pulaski, Va.: one brother; Ernest Clinton King of Indianapolis, IN. Also survived by 34 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Kegley was cremated at her request. There will be no public services. A private service will be held by the family at their request. Arrangements by Thomas M. Seagle & Sons, Pulaski.
