Nunn, Ross Eugene

Ross Eugene Nunn, 73, of Rochester, N.Y. and formerly of Draper, passed away Friday, February 24, 2006 at his home.

Born July 4, 1932 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Rev. Ellis Clayton Nunn and Madeline Virginia Akers Nunn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Kenneth Eugene Nunn and Richard Thomas Nunn; and two brothers, Richard Alvin Nunn and Claude Albert Nunn.

Ross’s love for life was his family and his outdoor activities. He was a kind and thoughtful man. The Lord has called him home to be with his loved ones.

Surviving him are his wife of 57 years, Fannie Irene Stinson Nunn of Rochester, N.Y.; sisters, Dorothy Roop-Roberts of Pulaski and Nancy Passarelli-Stanley of North Carolina; brothers, Robert Harold Nunn of Pulaski, Ellis Clayton Nunn, Jr. of Rochester, N.Y., Kenneth Rudolph Nunn of Barren Springs, Va.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 11 a.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Jerry Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Boulevard, Pulaski.

The family will be meeting at the home of his sister, Dorothy Roop-Roberts, following the funeral service, 1306 Hopkins Drive, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the family.
