Womack, Sr., Wayne S.

Wayne S. Womack, Sr., 61, of Shawsville, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Salem Health and Rehabilitation Center. He retired from Yokohama Rubber Company after 33 years of service.

Mr. Womack is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Womack. He is survived by his wife, Carmie Womack; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne S. Womack, Jr. and his wife, Debra Womack; four grandchildren, Andy, Lauren, Darren and Buddy; brother, David Womack and wife, Kaye; and dearest friends, Mike Eastridge and Gene Woods; as well as many other special friends and loved ones; and his special dogs, Coby and Sam also survive him.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Seneca Baptist Church in Elliston. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Seneca Baptist Church with Pastor John Collins officiating.
