Witt, Susan Stanley

Susan Irene Stanley Witt, 47, of Pulaski, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at her home. She was born in Dickenson County, Va. on September 17, 1960. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and her brother, Deron Stanley.

Surviving are her husband, Sam Witt of Pulaski, Va.; parents, Elder and Glenda Mullins Stanley; sisters and brother-in-law, Carol and Jim Mullins of Pulaski, Va. and Angie Stanley of Clintwood, Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Mary Stanley of Clintwood, Va.; three stepsons; four nieces; two nephews; four special friends, Mike and Penny Whitehurst of Newport News, Va. and Jody and Sue Davis of Boones Mill, Va.; four very special ladies that were caregivers, Cindy Smith, Melissa Richards, Patsy Whittaker and Gayle McGrady. She has lots of friends and family that loved her and will miss her very much.

The family will receive friends at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va. on Friday, October 26, 2007 from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at 2 p.m. from the Clintwood-Colley Funeral Home in Clintwood, Va. with the Rev. Larry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Stanley Family Cemetery, Dickenson County. There will be visitation on Saturday, October 27, 2007, from the Clintwood-Colley Funeral Home from 6 until 9 p.m. with a special song service at 7 p.m.
