Wyrough, Joanne Smith

Joanne “Jo” Smith Wyrough, age 76 of Pulaski, VA died Sunday October 21, 2007 in Pulaski Community Hospital.

She was born July 3, 1931 in Altoona, PA, the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Smith. She is survived by her husband, David James Wyrough of Pulaski; four daughters, Anne O?Brien of Cary, NC, Mary Cretekos of Poughquag, NY, Susan Thomas of Orlando, and Louie Jarvis of Owego, NY; two sons, Michael Wyrough of Rochester, NY, and James Wyrough of Owego, NY; two sisters, Mary Lou Johnston of Steamboat Springs, CO, and Catherine Bray of Springfield, MO; two brothers, Thomas Smith of Greer, SC, and Francis Smith of Jupiter Island, FL. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at St. Edwards Catholic Church from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday October 25, 2007, followed by a funeral mass at 7:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at a later date.
