Tabor, Ralph Donald

Ralph Donald Tabor, 73, of 1922 Warden Springs Road, Pulaski, Va., died early Friday morning, October 19, 2007 at his home.

He was born in Dublin on February 14, 1934 and was the son of the late Early Tabor and Mary Trail Tabor. He was also preceded in death by one sister; four brothers; and one grandson, Timothy Scott (Scottie) Tabor.

He was a retired employee of Pulaski Furniture Corporation with 35 years of service.

Surviving are his wife, Carrie Cook Tabor of Pulaski; son, David (Ronnie) Tabor of Dublin; granddaughter, Holly Eanes of Pulaski; greatgrandchildren, Justin, Brittany and Victoria; sisters, Ruth Childress of Pulaski and Elise Kelly of Pulaski; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby Lee and Leoda Cook of Pilot; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Whitaker of Dublin and Madeline White of Pulaski; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ted Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Newbern Cemetery, Pulaski County. Visiting will be held on Sunday evening, October 21, 2007 from the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
