Kahl, Albert Gwynn “Buddy”

Albert Gwynn “Buddy” Kahl, age 85 passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Lewis Gale Hospital, Pulaski. Born November 3, 1928 in New Albany, Indiana, he was the son of the late Albert and May Procter Kahl. His Daughter, Mary Jo Hardin, Step Brother, Roger Kahl and Step-son, Randy Widner also preceded him in death.

Buddy was a chemist for Valspar and Lilly of North Carolina having done contracting work with Pulaski Furniture Company in Pulaski for many years.

Surviving- His special companion-Betty Sadler-Pulaski,

Children- Stephen “Steve” Kahl and wife, Debbie – Clarksville, Indiana Debbie Lewellyn, Greg Kahl, Ronnie Kahl, Suzanne Mitchell, & Dale Kahl-all of Indiana. Jonathan Kahl-Hillsville Candy Moore and husband, Jimmy-Pulaski.

17 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 2- Great, Great Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren, 4 Step Great Grandchildren. 6- Step-Brothers and 3 Step -Sisters.

A memorial celebration will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. at the home of Donna and Sammy Carpenter, 271 Brim Lane, Barren Springs, VA 24313.
