Sims, Lena Albert

Lena Albert Sims, 87, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Marion Sims.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Tina Sims and Rickey and Joyce Sims, all of Radford; two grandchildren and their spouses, Amy and Bobby Bond of Radford and Jeffrey and April Sims of Fairlawn; one greatgrandson, Zachary Ryan Sims.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Calvary Baptist Church in Radford with the Rev. O.D. Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. www.mullinsfuneralhome.com.
