East, Wanda Webb

Wanda Webb East, 65, of Pulaski died early Thursday morning August 16, 2007, and went to be with her Lord and Savior, following a long illness in the Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born November 29, 1941 in Pulaski and was the daughter of the late Evelyn Louise McGuire and her parents, Virginia McGuire Webb and Raymond L. Webb. She was a retired employee of Jefferson Mills.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, David C. East and two brothers, Raymond L. Webb, Jr., and Dennis Webb. She is survived by two sons, Jeff East and his wife Elaine (Charlotte) of Pulaski, and James Kelly East and his wife Heather of Hazzard, Ky.; one daughter, Jolene Willis and her husband John of Orland Park, Ill.; one brother, Frederick Wright of Pulaski. She is loved and will be extremely missed by her grandchildren, Jeff and Ashley East, Josh and Jessica Rapp, Lelan East, John Khristopher Willis, Sarah Willis, Sydney Willis, Jake East, Hannah East and Chloe East. Her great-grandchildren Ethan Rapp and his soon to be sibling will hear all the wonderful stories about their great-grandmother and we will fondly remember her forever.

Funeral services will be held Sunday August 19, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons with the Rev. Randy Winn officiating. Interment will be held privately in Oakwood Cemetery. Visiting will be anytime at the funeral home Saturday after 4 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Flowers will be appreciated, but for those who wish, they may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
