Stuart, Mabel Grogan

Mabel Claudine Grogan Stuart, 93 of Copper Hill, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Stuart; parents, James & Julia Grogan; and six siblings.

She is survived by her sons, Chester R. Stuart, Granver Stuart, Milton Stuart (Violeta), Jacob A. Stuart (Anetta), and John Stuart (Arliene); grandchildren, Melissa A. Stuart, Belena Marquez (Alexander), Belinda Stuart, Milton Stuart, Jr. (Crystal), Jacob Stuart, Jr., Michael Stuart, John Stuart, Jr., Jodie Ward, and Brittany Stuart; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Nicholson; sister-in-law, Augustine Saunders; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clinton Crump officiating. Interment will follow in the Stuart Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025 at the funeral home.
