Jennings, Lena Odessa Coulson

Lena Odessa Coulson Jennings, 88, of 729 Maple Street, Dublin passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006 at New River Valley Medical Center.

Born April 16, 1917 in Carroll County, Va. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Jacob Coulson and Maggie Lucy Lawson Coulson.

Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Olas Jennings, Dublin; three daughters and sons-in law, Juanita and David Price, Dublin, Rita and Charles McKinster, Snowville, and Marilyn and Roger Lovern, Richmond; son and daughter-in law, Howard and Linda Jennings, Forest, Va.; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and brothers Homer Coulson, Woodlawn and Andrew Coulson, Woodlawn.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday 2 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Susan Cyre officiating. Entombment will following in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin, Va.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski
