Breeden, Robert Douglas

Robert Douglas Breeden, 70, of Radford, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014. Robert was born on May 2, 1943, to the late Brady Washington and Gertrude Hudgins Breeden. He was preceded in death his brother, Larry “Bo” Breeden; a sister, Linda Scott; a brother-in-law, Jimmy D. Flippen; and a grandson, Robert L. McManus.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, of 51 years, Roberta Breeden; his sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert Breeden Jr., Mike (Kim) Breeden, and David (Susan) Breeden; his daughters, Pamela McManus, Judy Breeden, Susan Taylor, and Shelly Roberts; his brothers, Brady W. and Kenneth Breeden; his sisters and brother-in-law, Rita (Sammy) Lang, Patty (Mike) Goad, Ann “Greasy” (Walter) Stultz, Sandra (Roy) Dickerson, Kathy O’Dell, Tina (Carl) Howell; a sister-in-law and her husband, Lulu and Charlie Moore; a brother-in-law and his wife, Chuck and Mary Lee Saul; a brother-in-law, Herbert Scott; a very special granddaughter and her husband, Amanda and Carl Kitchner; two granddaughters, Ashley and Alisha; five very special great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2014, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Michael Bond and Blain Oakley officiating. Interment will follow at Centennial Cemetery in McCoy.
