Ramsey, Maggie Wade

Maggie Ellen Wade Ramsey, 82 of Hobart, Ind. and formerly of Bland and Pulaski County, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2007.

She was born on February 6, 1925 in Radford, Va., a daughter of the late John H. and Della Alderman Wade. Survivors are daughter, Patricia (Gene) Kemp of Hobart, Ind.; son, Melvin E. Ramsey of Wytheville; daughter-in-law, Toni Jara of Dublin; grandchildren, Greg (Jean) Kemp, Jill (Dan) Zanolla, Mark (Stacy) Ramsey and Teresa (Michael) Brown; six great-grandchildren; extended family, John and Joyce Hamady and family; and loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Herman E. Ramsey; granddaughter Lisa Kemp; sisters, Clide McGhee and Alice Baldwin; and brothers, Riner Wade and Lloyd Wade.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate with the Rev. Ted Anders officiating. Burial in the Shiloh Cemetery, Hollybrook, Va. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the funeral home after 1 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
