Moody, Lyda Huff

Lyda Huff Moody, born July 23, 1910 in Huffville Va., near Christiansburg, died July 7, 2007 in Westminster, Colo. She lived an unconventional life, raising three children, Bob, Linda and Rick, as a single mom. She worked for more than 40 years forming chapters for Beta Sigma Phi and lived most of her adult life in Kansas City. Lyda earned her Associates Degree in her 80’s and loved to read, write poetry, and spend time with her family. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter Huff of Christiansburg. In addition to her children, she is survived by her sister, Mary Page Tidwell of Westminster, Colo.
