Seymour, Lindsey Marie

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Lindsey Marie Seymour, who left this world far too soon on June 18, 2024, at the age of 31. Born on November 2, 1992, in Petersburg, Virginia, Lindsey was a vibrant soul filled with an infectious laughter and boundless love for life.

Lindsey grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. She was a beloved daughter to Mary Stumbo Dimirack and her husband Buddy, and to her step-mother, Rosanna Seymour. She was a cherished mother to her precious daughter, Emma Perdue, who was the light of her life. Her brothers, Steven Dalton Seymour, Keith Allen Brooks, and Josh Dimirack, along with her sisters, Amanda Seymour Oliveri, Deanna Lynn Estep, and Brittany Brooks, will remember Lindsey as a sister who brought joy and kindness into their lives. Lindsey’s numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Steven Louis Seymour, with whom she now rests in peace.

Lindsey’s love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew her. She found solace in being outside, whether it was a simple walk in the park or an adventurous day by the water. She had a particular fondness for watching planes take flight, marveling at the wonder of aviation and the limitless sky. Lindsey’s spirit was as free and boundless as the planes she adored.

Family time was sacred to Lindsey. She treasured every moment spent with her loved ones, whether it was a quiet evening at home or a boisterous family gathering. Her ability to make even the simplest of times memorable left a permanent mark on her family’s hearts.

A passionate lover of animals, Lindsey’s compassion extended to all living creatures. Her pets were her companions and confidants, and she ensured they were cared for with the utmost love and attention. Lindsey’s affinity for makeup was another aspect of her colorful personality.

Lindsey lived life to the fullest, embracing every new day with enthusiasm and a smile that could light up a room. Her exuberance was contagious, inspiring others to live with the same zest and appreciation for the present moment.
