Greenway, Curtis Lynn

Curtis Lynn Greenway, 69, of Pearisburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at the Forever Young private care facility. He was born in Indiana on December 4, 1953, the only child of the late Donald Eugene & Juanita Badger Greenway.

“Curt” was a member of the Centerville Baptist Church in Centerville, VA. He was a 1971 graduate of Centerville High School in Ohio. He continued into furthering his education and graduated from both Ohio University and Ohio Northern Law University.

He was a retired Major of the United States Army serving in active duty for 20 years in the Judge Advocate General Corps. He later became a civilian attorney for the J.A.G. Corps.

He enjoyed flying radio controlled aircraft and building model trains and model Civil War memorabilia. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed doing yardwork and grilling for his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Victoria Offenbacher Greenway; his two daughters, Sarah Rachel Greenway and Abigail Elizabeth Greenway; and several cousins and friends.

Per his wishes, Curt has been cremated and a memorial service is planned for a later date.
