Penny Chapman Cockram, 40, of Check, passed away Friday , June 22, 2007.

Survivors include her husband, Joel Cockram of Check, Va.; son, Joey Gabris of Check, Va.; parents, Gerald and Jeannie Chapman of Roanoke, Va.; sister, Jacqueline Wolfe of West Palm Beach, Fla.; maternal grandmother, Ruth Thompson of Natural Bridge Station, Va.; and paternal grandmother, Gladays Lumbo of Roanoke, Va.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd. Interment to follow at Lee Cemetery (Tuggles Gap). Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Maberry Funeral Home.
