Thomas, Joe Eddie

Joe Edward “Eddie” Thomas, 68, of Green Valley Road in Peterstown, WV, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Born January 27, 1955, in Pearisburg, VA, he was the son of the late Joe Thomas and Mildred Smith Thomas.

Eddie was a farmer and worked on several farms. His enjoyment was hunting and riding his Massey Ferguson tractor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Wood.

Eddie will be missed by his sisters, Brenda and Mike Gillespie, Peggy and Harry Dolbow and his brother-in-law, Billy Wood, all of Ballard, WV; nieces, Elisha and Dave Edgell, and Brittany and Joshua Lilly; nephews, Craig and Hope Gillespie, Shannon and Braxton Dolbow, Dustin and Haley Dolbow, and Zack and Brittany Wood; great nieces and nephews, Caleb and Kelly Lilly, Cora and Deegan Edgell, Morgan Wood, Corban Gillespie, and Gatlin and Lincoln Dolbow; and special aunts, Marilyn Greer and Betty Farmer.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Bradley Cemetery in Lindside, WV, with Pastor Jerry Martin and Craig Gillespie officiating.
