Gore, Ann Trout
Ann Trout Gore passed away September 29, 2023, at HarborChase in Rock Hill after extended illness. Ann was born October 4th, 1942, to the late Wilson Donald Trout & Jeanne Heslep Trout in Pulaski, VA.
Ann had a long career as a registered nurse in the operating room working in several states and retired from Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. After retirement she volunteered at her church, Palmetto Volunteers in Medicine in Rock Hill, and Habitat for Humanity. She was an avid dog lover and gardener, loved to kayak, waterski, and snow ski, did arts and crafts, and taught water aerobics at the YMCA. Ann enjoyed traveling with her husband and they went on many trips to CA, FL, VA and Washington, DC. Ocean fishing was one of her favorite pastimes, especially at one of her favorite places, New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Ann is survived by her beloved husband, Wayne Gore; her son David Saleeba III(Julie) of York, SC, Millie Clowers of Ballard, WV; her grandsons, David Saleeba IV of York, SC, Donnie Saleeba of York, SC, and Christian Dye (Mackenzie) of Ocala, FL; and her great-grandson, Rowan Dye.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Donald Wilson Trout; and her son, Donald Travis Dye.
The family would like to thank HarborChase of Rock Hill and Providence Care Hospice & Palliative care for the love and care they gave her.

The family will receive visitors on Friday October 6, 2023 at 10:30AM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Gore following the visitation at 12:00PM.
A separate service for Ann Gore will take place in Virginia. The visitation will begin at 10:00AM on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Givens-Riffe’s Funeral Home, 600 Main St, Narrows, Virginia 24124-1416, with the service starting at 11:00AM and the burial following at Fairview Cemetery, Narrows, VA.
