Hagy, Julie Nutter

Julie Nutter Hagy of Christiansburg passed away on October 10, 2023. She was born February 5, 1978 and was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Robert Nutter.

Julie is survived by her husband, Danny Hagy; daughter, Kaylee Hagy; step-children, Dylan Tickle and Alexis Hagy; mother, Alice Nutter; sisters, Tammy Turpin (Ronnie) and Tonya Blackwell; mother-in-law, Sharon Hawley; brother-in-law, Benny Hagy; as well as niece and nephew, Isabella and Jaxon.

Julie attended Blue Ridge Church in Christiansburg and worked for Price Real Estate. She loved watching Tennessee Volunteers football and going on motorcycle rides with her husband.

The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice, Price Real Estate family, Pulaski Radiation Oncology, Dr. Goldschmidt, New River Valley Medical Center staff, nurse Meredith and all the nurses who cared for her over the last 8 months, as well as her special friend and coworker, Sara Guthrie.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 1-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel, with Pastor Scott Obenchain officiating.
