Alvarez, Dale Durham

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Dale Durham Alvarez. She passed away peacefully on the early morning of September 14th, 2023. Dale (Mama D), a woman of elegance, youthfulness, beauty, and unwavering compassion and strength, lived every day maximizing and cherishing the beauty of life. In her 81 years of life, Dale always had the biggest heart, and she welcomed and loved anyone who walked into her life. We will miss the remarkable woman that was Dale Alvarez beyond measure.

If you would please join us for a celebration of Dale’s life, there will be a service on October 7th at 1:00p.m at NorthStar Church in Blacksburg, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to the NorthStar Church Caring Fund, and to always cheer for Dale’s Georgia Bulldogs.
